Neil Kempston is the Head of Incubation Underwriting at Beazley, and is dedicated to discovering, designing, testing, and underwriting innovative insurance products and solutions. They seek to identify new market opportunities that go beyond the company’s existing product offerings and those of the wider insurance market.

About our Guest Speaker:
Neil is the Head of Incubation Underwriting at Beazley, a specialised team focused on developing and underwriting new insurance products. Since being founded in 2020, Incubation Underwriting has launched breakthrough products for IVF, Reputation, ‘Usage-Based’ liability, parametric weather solutions, ART and insurance for the crypto industry. Neil is also an active member of the Lloyd’s Lab and innovation community – mentoring startup Insurtech organisations and collaborating with other innovation teams in the London market.
Prior to his role in Incubation, Neil joined Beazley in 2015 as the Data Analyst within the Broker Relations team, where he worked with all product lines, locations and key broker partners. Before this, he worked within the Willis Global Placement team, providing carrier analytics and supporting broking teams. Neil graduated from Bristol University with a Masters in Engineering Design.
